Created as part of the 75th anniversary of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, the virtual exhibition The Miracle of Mainz tells the story of the founding of the JGU. Dr. Franz Stephan Pelgen, who works at the Gutenberg Institute for World Literature and Written Media, discovered the interesting personality Ferdinand Ochsenheimer in the digital copies of the history of the University of Mainz and dedicated an article to him.
